TAG - 42 Beauty Questions!

Hey Everyone! For years I have been reading tags that people post on their blogs
or watching soo many tag videos on youtube. I knew that when I started a blog
 I wanted to join in on all the fun and do my own :) I tag everyone who is reading
 this to partake in this if they haven't already done so. 

Skincare 

How many times do you wash your face daily? - Twice a day. When I wake up 

and before going to sleep, although sometimes I have to admit I get lazy and just use
 a makeup removing/cleansing wipe at night. 

What skin type do you have? (dry, oily or combination)-  I have oily skin

What is your current facial wash? - Spectro gel, but I am almost out of it and
want to try something new

Do you exfoliate? - Yes, a few times a week 

What brand do you use? - Benefit Refined Finish Facial Polish

What moisturizer do you use? - Kiehls Blue Herbal Moisturizer

Do you have freckles? - Nope 

Do you use eye cream? - Yes

Do you or did you have acne prone skin? - Unfortunately Yes :( 

Did you ever use ProActiv?- Yes, but I didnt like it. My face was burning and
 stinging while I used it. 

Makeup

What foundation do you use? - Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation 

How about concealer? - I use one from Nars for blemishes and either benefits
erase paste or Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting concealer for under my eyes.

Do you know your undertone colour? - I think its yellow :S 

What do you think of fake eyelashes?- Haven't tried them yet. My lashes
are super long without them though so I never felt the need to enhance that,
but I want to try them :)

Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months? - 
Of Course! You don't want to get an eye infection! 

What brand of mascara do you use?- I love Benefit's They're Real, Lancome Hypnose
 Drama, and L'oreal Voluminous Million Lashes 

Sephora or Mac? - Definitely Sephora! They have such a variety when it comes to makeup,
perfumes, hair care, skin and body care. 

Do you have a MAC Pro-Card? - Nope 

What make-up tools do you use in make-up application? - I don't have too many
makeup brushes,in fact i just use the basics: eyeliner brush, eyeshadow brush, blending
brush, kabuki, blush brush, powder brush. I like to apply foundation with my fingers for a
more natural look and its easier to blend. 

Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes? - Always, but I don't wear shadows on a
daily basis so I have never bought an eye primer for myself. I have redeemed a couple 100 point
perks at sephora for the urban decay one and I really love it. They will last me forever! 

For the face? - Of Course! My face is so oily that I really need primer. I currently use the Tarte Clean 

Slate Poreless 12-Hour Perfecting Primer. I also love Benefits porefessional. I've gone through 2 of them already and  I just dab a little on my pores for extra coverage. 

What is your favourite eye shadow? (Colour or Shade) - Mac Naked Lunch

Do you use pencil or liquid eye-liner? - I mostly use pencil for my waterline. I just recently
bought the mac gel eyeliner in Blacktrack and I love it to line my eyelid. 

How often do you poke your eyes with an eye liner pencil? - I have never poked it with eyeliner,
but I did poke it with a mascara wand once lol! 

What do you think of pigment eye shadows? - Too heavy looking for me personally. 

Do you use mineral make-up? - No, I like fuller coverage foundation and haven't tried any
other mineral products

What is your favourite lipstick? - YSL Rouge Volupte #2. Its the perfect nude 

How about lip gloss? - Chanel Glossimer #148 Petit Peche is my absolute favourite! 

What is your favourite blush? - I don't wear blush often but when I do its Nars Orgasm

Do you buy make-up on e-bay? - Never, I don't trust it

Do you like drug store make-up? - It depends what it is. I haven't come across a drugstore
foundation that works for me, but I love the mascara's and concealers. 

Do you go to CCO's? (Cosmetic Company Outlets) - I have only been to the L'Oreal one so
I hope to go to more! They have soo many great deals. I wish they would happen more often!

Did you ever consider taking make-up classes? - I would love to :)

Are you clumsy in putting on make-up? -Not really, but sometimes lining your lid can be tricky. 

Name a make-up crime that you hate?- Cakey foundation

Do you like colourful shades of make-up (lipstick, eye shadow) or neutral tones? - I'm a neutral
girl! I like the classic look :)

Which celebrity always has great make-up? - Kim Kardashian. I love the neutral lip with the smokey 

eyes it looks so pretty!  

If you could leave the house with just ONE Make-up item, what would you use? - Foundation! 

Could you ever leave the house without any make-up on? -No, with acne prone skin I need my 

foundation to cover the blemishes. One day soon maybe :)

Do you think you look good even without any make-up on? - No, lol 

In your opinion, what is the BEST make-up line? - It's too hard to choose! I love
different brands for different reasons. Like mac has the best eye shadows and brushes,
but I am not a fan of their foundations.I also love benefit, nars & laura mercier! 

What do you think of Make-up? - Its fun and girly and boosts my confidence. I love that
it enhances everyones natural beauty!

The Paw-fect Posh Pet Toy!

I know this post may not be interesting for people who don't have dogs, but for those who do, you're going to love these dog toys! Ever since my dog was a puppy I would buy tons of these designer inspired pet toys for her and well now that she is nine years old, she has acquired quite the collection. In fact they are the only toys she will even play with!

The toys are made of a soft plush material that has a squeaking mechanism in them that my dog goes crazy for when she hears it. Each fashion forward toy combines an esteemed designer house label and relates it in some way to dogs. In case this sounds confusing some examples include Sniffany & Co., Chewy Vuitton, Chewnel, Pawda, Bark Jacobs etc. Each dog toy combines a feminine aspect like a purse, shoe or nail polish and attaches a fashion house that would best suit it.

In case your dog is male and you still want them to enjoy a cute plush toy, many stores also carry toys shaped like ipods, iphones, beer bottles etc, which are equally as cute. I have always bought these toys at a pet store in Toronto, specifically Yorkville called My Pet Boutique and its such a great store for pet lovers to go to and it is such a friendly environment. They have everything in there that you couldn't even imagine you need for your dog (or cat), but they also carry shampoos, beds, clothes, shoes, and so much more. Also, the employees are so friendly and welcoming to you and your pet :). If you are not in the Toronto area, you can get them in so many places online including Trixie and Peanut.

The toys are priced between $10-$20 depending on size, and although they're expensive, for me they're totally worth every penny in my opinion as it makes my dog so happy to just grab one everyday to play with! They make great gifts for any animal lover and their pet! :)
